Newspaper Club, with whom I have done several pieces of work, were nominated for the 2010 Designs of the Year Awards. They asked me to create a piece for the nominees exhibition at the Design Museum, London.

I created a walk and an accompanying map and essay which starts at the Design Museum and reconceived the Bermondsey and Rotherhithe bank of the Thames as a coastline, filled with real and fictive histories. This work was printed on newspaper and distributed free to exhibition visitors (17 February - 06 June 2010).

Newspaper Club won the Graphics category.

You can find out more about the genesis of the project at Booktwo, and on the Newspaper Club blog.
